Overview

Meine Sternzeit ("the App") is developed by Brigita Berger. Protecting your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what data the App collects, how it is used, and what choices you have.

Account and Personal Data

To use Meine Sternzeit, you create an account with your email address and name. For your personal birth analysis, we require your date of birth, time of birth, and place of birth. This data is stored securely in our database and used exclusively to calculate your personal profile and the content derived from it. All data collected is linked to your identity.

Analytics

The App collects pseudonymous usage data via PostHog to improve the experience. This includes:

• Product interaction data (e.g. which features are used, app launches, tap and scroll behaviour)
• Diagnostic data (e.g. crash reports and performance data via Sentry)

This data is collected in pseudonymised form and is not used for advertising purposes. You can disable analytics at any time in the App's settings.

Error Monitoring

The App uses Sentry to detect and resolve technical errors. Sentry collects anonymised crash and performance data used exclusively to improve App stability.

Purchases and Subscriptions

If you purchase a subscription, purchase receipts are processed by RevenueCat for subscription validation. RevenueCat stores only an anonymous app user ID — no personal data such as name, email, or payment details are collected by us. Payment is handled entirely by Apple through your Apple ID account.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. The following third-party providers receive limited data as part of the App's functionality:

• PostHog — pseudonymous usage analytics
• Sentry — anonymised error and performance monitoring
• RevenueCat — subscription validation (on purchase only)
• Supabase — secure data storage for your account and personal profile

Your Rights

You have the right to request access to your stored data, have it corrected, or have it deleted. For such requests, please contact us at brigita@meine-sternzeit.de.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
