Overview

Sternzeit ("the App") is developed by Mario Berger. Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what data the App collects, how it is used, and what choices you have.

Account & Birth Data

To use Sternzeit you create an account with your email address. For your personal horoscope we need your date of birth, time of birth, and place of birth. This data is stored securely in our database and used exclusively to calculate your horoscope.

Analytics (Optional)

If you have opted in to analytics, the App may collect anonymous usage data via PostHog to improve the experience. This includes:

• Product interaction data (e.g. which features are used)
• Diagnostic data (e.g. crash reports)

This data is not linked to your identity. You can disable analytics at any time in the App's settings.

Purchases & Subscriptions

If you subscribe, purchase receipts are processed by RevenueCat for subscription validation. RevenueCat stores only an anonymous app user ID — no personal data such as name, email, or payment details are collected by us. Payment is handled entirely by Apple or Google through your account.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. The only third parties that may receive limited, anonymous data are:

• PostHog — anonymous analytics (if enabled)
• RevenueCat — subscription validation (on purchase)
• Supabase — secure data storage for your account and horoscope
• Sentry — error monitoring (anonymized)

Children's Privacy

Sternzeit is rated for users aged 4 and above and does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 without parental consent.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
